Hello everyone and welcome to the first official ladder tournament. As it was stated in the Future of PvP Ladder topic , this is a tournament for those that made it into the top25 at the end of September's ranked season. The tournament was originally supposed to start when the 3rd Official tournament would be over, but it was then decided to happen at the same time. Every player that made it into top 25 and is interested in participating must contact St4rlord on forums or discord (St4rlord#4495) about their participation. Registrations close at October 5th at midnight. Once all participants are gathered, the brackets will come out and the tournament will be ready to start. You will also receive a link to a discord server designed for this tournament only. Players that won't participate in this event will not be able to join this server. [glow=red]Tournament rules:[/glow] ~Follow all PRO Ranked Battle Rules. These can be found here: PvP Rules. ~Every round will be a best of three ( first to get 2 wins advances to the next round ) except for the final that will be a best of five. ~If disconnected, it will be counted as a loss unless your opponent agrees to a rematch. ~You must be able to record and upload matches to Youtube for evidence or take screenshots that prove your victory. These must be uploaded and submitted within 48 hours of the match taking place. You must display your full team at the beginning of the video (or via screenshots) by clicking on each Pokemon. If both sides fail to record the match or provide screenshots and a dispute comes up, the battle will be resolved by coin flip. ~Battles should be resolved in a timely manner. If they are not completed by the round deadline which will be [glow=red]5 days per round[/glow], and an extension has not been granted, the win will be awarded thusly: [glow=red]1[/glow]If one player has contacted the Staff members responsible for the tournament the win will be granted to that player. [glow=red]2[/glow]If neither player has contacted the Staff members responsible for the tournament, the match will be decided by coin flip. ~Regarding the number of pokemon that your team will be consisted of, there are 2 options. You will either have to choose 14 unique pokemon to use or you will be free to use as many pokemon as you want. Every participant should include what he/she prefers in their participation message to St4rlord. The choice with the most votes is what will prevail. The different between 16 and 25 players is one round only. These rounds won't last one week each, but we plan on making them last about 4 days per round. So the tournament duration won't exceed 2,5-3 weeks. Still this is the first tournament of this type. Future tournaments may have change as those suggested above, depending on the outcome of this one.

Hello fellow PvPers! We would like to announce that another tournament is on the way! What do you need to enter? Your ticket this time is going to be the PvP ladder. Finishing into the top25 will be the requirement to enter. Since the new PvP season started yesterday, you have 1 month to get into the top25 and maintain your spot there till the end of the season. When the season ends, registrations will open for the top25 players and another topic will be created for the purpose of the tournament. In case someone from the top25 isn't interested on entering, the player that holds the 26th spot will be able to take his place and so on. We will contact you if it comes to that, since what you can see is top25 only. What will the reward be? Since this tournament will be of a lower scale than the previous ones, the reward will not be neither a legendary nor a pokemon of your choice. That being said, take a look below :) Please note that for this tournament to take place, the one that is currently running must come to an end first as well. Also it is not yet decided if this type of tournaments will happen every one or two months, but there will be an announcement if one is to start. The tournament reward will also be untradable. To further answer your question, as stated in the PvP rules : Sleep Clause: If you have already put a Pokemon on your opponent's side to sleep, and it is still sleeping, you cannot put another one to sleep. This rules is not induced by self-sleep inducing moves, such as Rest. Screenshots of all slept Pokemon's movesets, whilst you are in the active battle, are required in this clause. Regarding Natural Cure- Two Pokemon can be put to sleep if, and only if, the first Pokemon has natural cure (The reverse order would violate the clause as the Natural Cure Pokemon would be on the field asleep with an additional Pokemon being asleep in the party). If you assume a Pokemon has natural cure and you are wrong then you risk being punished for violation. You can put magnezone to sleep but then you'll have to wait for it to wake up before you can put to sleep the opponent's talonflame.

To answer your question, Darkrai is a reward to a staff member for his contribution to the game. It cannot be obtained by anyone else, at least for now. At this moment, every player can catch mew , celebi and a legendary dog and jirachi . Have a nice day :) EDIT: Not anyone can get the reward by becoming a staff member. He/she has to be staff for 6 months in order to obtain. -Kagawa

Hello [mention]ZeroFortune[/mention] , When you got reported, the evidence provided there weren't enough to prove you were breaking a PvP rule but were neither proving you were innocent. The evidence were insufficient and therefore no action could be taken. The only reason you received a warning was to help you in case you didn't know the rules and were indeed violating the sleep clause. If you hadn't understood the rules correctly and were breaking a PvP rule, a report with sufficient evidence would lead to your ban. That's why i gave you a warning, to read and be sure of the rules (in case you weren't) to avoid this situation. Furthermore this warning will not affect your future punishments ( if there are any of course ). Upon breaking a PvP rule, you are punished with a temporary ban since you should have read the PvP rules before playing. You aren't warned about it first. To sum up, your warning was only to help you in case you had misunderstood the rules and will not affect any possible future punishments.

A non ranked pvp button sounds like a really great idea which we'll definitely discuss and maybe add in the future. Regarding your other suggestion, it is possible it got auto locked as a lot of time passed since the last post there. That said im going to unlock it now.
