Depends on your Scizor I would say, but most of the time it won't die after one Take-Down.

Hi PopInSmoke,
what I can tell you is that Beldum is still recoiling the damage from Take-Down, but the recoil damage he is receiving is so little that you aren't able to see it. However, Beldum will faint after enough damage he received from Take-Down. I hope this might helps you. :)

360179 So i went down to Pokemon underground to hunt for Gastly and Litwick, using Doublade with No Guard ability as a false swiper. I noticed that every Gastly using Hypnosis still misses against my Doublade when it should hit every time due to No Guard.

All moves used by or against a Pokémon with this Ability cannot miss. It also allows Pokémon to be hit during the semi-invulnerable turn of Fly, Bounce, Dive, Dig, Shadow Force, Sky Drop, and Phantom Force. -

I made this guide since I would like to share my techniques about how to catch Beldum
with more efficient ways. Hope the following techniques will help you guys.
Directions:
1. Prepare enough pokeballs.
2. Put any Pokemon from Synchronizer List as the lead of your team.
3. Encounter a wild Beldum and paralyze him with thunder wave.
4. Switch to False Swiper Pokemon and then use false swipe.
5. Keep throwing the pokeballs until you catch him.
6. You caught a wild Beldum!
Explanation about Beldum Recoil: Beldum won't recoil any damage from Take Down
because he can't do any damage to your Pokemon.
Synchronizer List
Required Ability: Synchronize(Ability Description)
Required Move: Thunder Wave(Move Description) + Anything
Recommend Level: 65+
Kadabra
Alakazam Ralts Kirlia Gardevoir Natu
Xatu Musharna BeheeyemFalse Swiper List

Hello yourmajesty,
You can buy water bottle known as "freshwater" from the top floor on Goldenrod Mart and you need prepare a spore/sleep powder Pokemon in your team.
