    Exactly. If it was just one person who actually needed help it would be different. But this is a whole guild who camps out in vermillion and never leaves. They are running a full pyramid scheme of begging

    just bumping because within 2 days ive gotten spammed 7 times total from people wanting free level 100 pokes and/or money. if people keep falling to the level of giving them money and mons out of being guilt tripped then itll never end because these people dont just take what you give them and stop, they take what you give them and it gives them more of a reason to continue because they know people are just gonna keep giving them free stuff and they will never have to work for it

    +1, Beggars are annoying, if you have some self-esteem you shouldn't even beg in the first place.

     

    Moreover, grinding nowadays is a LOT easier compared to the previous years, aka 2014-2015. Back at this time, there wasn't :

     

    -  The 2020 xp rework of Kanto and Johto. Kanto being all of a sudden extremely difficult when arriving at Cinnabar Gym, Johto was difficult when arriving at the Rocket Hideout in Mahogany irrc.

     

    -  The recent introduction of Copycat Lamsie, which gives a decent pinch of xp after facing each gym.

    . I personally faced here multiple times and saw some lvl70+ FULLY EVOLVED teams at the 2 last gyms of regions. Which proves that our wonderful Shizeria did a great job 🥳.

    -  Having the possibility now to evolve mons as there's more xp to get.

    . But still, the tip of not evolving until facing The E4 was always used. Even a NPC when exiting Viridian City says to care if you evolve your mons too soon.

    . Everyone will say to newbies to lvl up a Gastly and a Gyarados which both sweep all regions and all e4 by themselves.

     

    -  lvl 40 mons of Kanto Victory Road.

    . They're currently lvl 50 at the highest floor just before facing an important obstacle.

     

      Now that xp side is covered, I'll now talk about the thing that those beggars don't do and lead to this undesired behaviour.

     

    -  Informing about :

    . The best strategies to use ( f.e Gastly and Gyarados mentionned above for stories).

    . The PvE repeatable content that is in every MMO to gain Money and rewards, aka Bosses / Suspicious Bot / Reporter and Digs.

     

    -  Checking forums guides.

    . There's literally a guide for everything if you are lost.

    . Staff guides for a lot of subjects.

    . Bhimoso's guides for newbies, take a cup of tea his guides take a while to read as he explains a lot of things.

     

    - Managing efficiently their money.

    . Only noticable when doing story.

    . Spamming PvE content after doing all stories gives you a good amount of money each week.

     

      You might say that I'm talking like a tryharder and not being friendly to casual players. That, it's a pokemon game and doesn't need too much effort. But this is where you're wrong. PRO is a MMO and as such, there must have a certain difficulty. Plus, PRO doesn't follow the official license, which is honestly not even a challenge, unless doing a Nuzlocke.

     

    Conclusion :

    Beggars don't give themselves the means to succeed. Being able to report them should make them think twice before begging a dozen times at Vermillion or such. And, actually making them play the game instead. Of course, while not being total jerks or it will have the opposite effect.

     

    So, choose your side... I already knew mine.

The accounts are there for the primary reason of asking for money from players and or pokemon. Uses two accounts with similar names, not to mention the rest of the people that do it as well fully support this.

    yeah exactly and its been hundreds of different beggars just camping out in vermillion for years and 0 of them actually play the game they just want the cheap way out of doing hard work. they log in inside vermillion log out inside vermillion

    I think I speak for every single person on pro when I say that beggars are by far the most annoying thing to see every single time you log onto the game to play and relax, as of right now there is nothing we can do to stop these beggars other than ignore them but that doesn't do anything because they just spam everyone else over and over. I'm suggesting just a tweak in the rules that can allow us to report these people because some of these people (sometimes its whole guilds) sit in vermillion for weeks/months getting 0 progress done on their own and just beg beg beg their life's away. If there was a rule where we can report the first time and they get a warning/mute I think it will stop alot of the begger problem that pro has. And trust me that problem is huge im sure everyone knows that already

    The fact of old user being against it was expected from us, this cause as I said as well within staff it is important to maintain exclusivity for things obtained in special events done 3/4 years ago. And this is exactly why we have thought about adding, to the original players that had received them in the event (2016/2017, not sure) something else exclusive they can keep.

     

    We are still unsure about WHAT give, but as for now we are thinking about a special form of said Giratina Wings. As we are still unsure, we'll just communicate it when this will be properly decided.

     

    Any update on this?

    For years i would consider ascension to be a big ol happy family more than a community and im happy to announce that one of our very own members @Cyanirl has went off and did the unthinkable. he went off and not only got his bachelors degree but he went and got his MASTERS. im so so proud of this man nobody will every understand and im definitely positive that everyone else in ascension is so very proud too. i had to share this here so everyone else can be proud of our very own master at his craft too. its like ive watched my own family grow when ive seen the amount of happiness and joy that ive seen when cyan comes into memberchat talking about what he learned and teaching all of us his learnings as well, it brings tears to my eyes seeing the happiness. now im sure many people know someone who has gotten their masters degrees and can share the excitement that we all are sharing for our boy cyan so if everyone can just give him a big shoutout when u see him in game or if u see him anywhere on discords or wherever it would mean the world. Our boy has officially graduated clown college and can proceed his life the way all of the gods intended we couldnt be happier. much love to you brother and hope all is well for the rest of your life.

    Thats what I did, thats what I was talking about when I said it comes back. When I deleted them in the options with the big X they will pop back up in the bar up top
