Did you beat the guy that let you into the hideout? iirc you have to defeat him before you're allowed to rescue Eevee, other than that I'm not sure. I've beaten everyone I needed to I believe. I have not beaten Greg, however (the guy with all the Eeveelutions). I can check the pod that he's in front of, but all the rest say I need a password. u need to defeat him because he gives hint to open the machine.

Like Arnie said, old pc cannot handle PRO. I suggest you to upgrade your pc instead.
