if they can code certain restrictions for various offenses I would get behind something like this - not only would it generate them even more revenue - but things like this are problems in all online games and other companies take similar approaches. Smaller offenses and unaware users would have options to return and continue paying, playing, etc. Even probationary periods etc. Not a bad idea, definitely something that can be discussed at least no? With some discussion on how to go about the process and whatnot, I think stuff like this is already on the way though - cash shop is bound to get more consumable type things and something like a "Forgiveness medal" can definitely happen i feel like lol

Lafleur is absolutely right - it is a purely visual bug because the game should still load and function completely normally. The only issue is that the volume/version is just not listed correctly. Are you having ANY issues other than the fact that you noticed the version didn't change? I just want to make sure you have no more issues. Just as an aside - you can consider this answered for the most part as Lafleur has the inside scoop on everything you would need I am sure, so I trust his answer here 100%.

Other course of action would be to contact your ISP (HOTnet) and ask them to change the IP for you. Your current IP (Could be) flagged and blocked in the server firewall due to being of questionable nature. Speculation is one thing - However, He is not wrong in saying the things he has said - They did announce those things. On top of that - there was a Prntscrn list of a few things they plan to add into the game very soon, I cannot say for a fact that I saw a new gym leader, but I can confirm that the level of monsters moving within mt silver WILL increase.
