  1. I've never played PVP in my life and I don't want to see this. Ngl besides the terrible timeloss issue, I don't even think it looks good, quite the opposite actually. A small blue spark would have been enough imo.

That said I respect the work that was put into it. What I don't respect is the fact they're banning every discussion about it without notice. That's very insulting.

But the very least is to make it optional like OP said. Moves animations are optional, why not this? I understand they want us to see the work they put into the game but it's not the right way. Unless the timeloss is voluntary, in which case I'd love to know why.

  2. +1. Anything that makes PVE smarter is very welcome. It'd also be a good way to give some love to UU Mons (that could actually be a rule - no OU in your party).

Disagree with the arbitrary rules though (eq every turn, 2 natures, etc). I know those are just examples but everything should stay 100% Nintendo imo. We already have the 400 EVs / 4+ moves on bosses. I'm sure we can come up with ideas to make things difficult without relying on bruteforce custom rules.

  3. Use the ralts line as your sync, it knows memento

Maybe I'm missing something here but it doesn't solve the issue unless both your sync & repel trick are the same Mon, which isn't optimal at all. Besides I'd rather not farm T8s for the sole purpose of repel tricking.

This is just a small convenience option that would be pretty useful.

  4. Hi,

Small suggestion here, title is self-explanatory. An option to disable the auto-heal when we use escape ropes would make life a bit better when we're on repel trick sessions.

Lots of us use ropes a lot to travel and it can be a little annoying to have to kill our repel tricker again when we don't pay attention.

Definitely not a high priority here but would be good to have this someday.

    Cheers

  5. Anything to make Sinnoh great again is welcome so +1 obviously.

But I feel like this is linked to the Vermillon thread from a few days ago and they made it pretty clear they wouldn't spend time on this kind of things..

  6. Completely agree with Saturnalien here. It's insane to me that a game with such a great UI experience overall is fine with a PC like this. When I started playing PRO back in 2015 I was amazed at how professional it looked for a Pokémon fangame - you could move things around, you could drag & drop your Mons to link them, etc. The PC was the obvious letdown but I was sure it'd be updated soon enough given how everything else was polished. But here we are. It's 2020 and we still have a PC that is barely more functional than the one in Red & Blue.

Also, comparing PC update and megas is bad faith. The later will change gameplay for a small fraction of the playerbase; the former has been asked by both PVE & PVP users forever and would benefit everyone.

Anyways, it's interesting to see the waterfall/dive tool suggestion was accepted so quickly and the rest of the page is denied or left unanswered. Shop-related stuff sure seems like a good way to have answers. Maybe we should suggest the new PC is buyable with real money :) We're not necessarily asking for immediate implementation but an explanation as to why some major things are still hanging would be appreciated. It's the bare minimum actually.

  7. Why is this an argument? Many Pokes can learn Cut, Dig & Flash and yet we have tools for that.

It's just for convenience, people who don't want to "waste coins" can just keep using HM slaves.

As for rarity, just have both Waterfall and Dive in the same tool to give it comparable value.

  8. I like to say that people who used staff view didn't use it to admire the Visuals of the highly detailed pixel art that Pro does so well. People used it to get an advantage when moving though large maps, as so not to get lost. Not Inherently a bad thing but Staff meant for it to be used to Mapping purposes, not used for players to abuse. The staffview band aid was going to be ripped off sooner than later.

I don't know on what screen you're playing but as OP said there's no "highly detailed pixel art" on a 27"+ monitor. There's nothing to admire except big pixelated tiles.

Obviously a +1 although there's no hope at this point, it's definitely in the "will-never-happen" box alongside a new PC.

  9. Hi,

When we get a 3rd consecutive win on a boss, we get to choose a Pokemon reward. What's kinda annoying is that we have to go back to the PC to get our sync and then go back to the boss to get the reward. It eats up quite a lot of time when we're on a bosses session since some of them are not easily accessible.

Can we imagine getting rid of the fight and just have the boss ask us the nature and hand it to us? That way it just goes in the PC and we don't need to come back. I'm aware it implies having a 100% sync success (unless you can handle the 50% without a fight?) so another solution would be to have an NPC manage the rewards in the Pokecenters for instance.

Having a PC close to the bosses would solve the problem too but I guess it's not very RP in most places.

    Cheers

  10. -1 on this.

I'm 100% behind every ergonomy improvement but having the minimize and close buttons next to each other is how it's done everywhere. Your browser, your file explorer, basically every app. Changing this would mess with my brain.

That being said, I see no issue with increasing the gap between them if that can be helpful.

  11. Can't disagree with this so +1

That being said, losing 40k means that you knew the risk but you insisted.

No offence but people should also use common sense. If the server or your internet is unstable, don't persist in paying the Safari fee and just wait for things to settle.

Also, keep in mind that you can get your 10k back just by selling a sync.

  12. You are so lazy to reach the mouse from your keyboard ?

If that's your agument, we might as well remove the hotbar altogether. That's just basic ergonomy.

I don't know if you've been hunting unrepelable T8/T9 for extremely long sessions because you definetely feel how the process is slowed down just because of balls.

Not to mention I sometimes play far from my PC and my mouse Bluetooth being weaker than my keyboard's, it can get frustrating.

Like Norex said, anything that makes keyboard playing easier is a right decision for any game (replacing the repel prompt with a 1/2 choice would be great as well for instance).

It's kinda been suggested already but under other forms. I've seen people asking for a full keyboard-acessible bag (1 for the first item, 2 for the second, etc). It's not feasible or risky because of how the items order can change if you run out of balls or something. With a dedicated slot, it seems pretty safe.

  13. Hi,

It's great that we can play so much of the game with a keyboard only. Unfortunately, we still need to use the mouse or the touchscreen when we want to throw a ball on a wild Poke, which is a big timeloss when we're on hard hunting sessions.

That's why I'd like to suggest a 7th slot dedicated to in-battle situations. We could drag our Hyperballs onto it or anything that is usable in a fight. Obviously the best solution for this would be to make all 6 slots usable in battle but I suppose it would require some more work. A new dedicated slot seems easier to do as you only have to check if the player is in a fight.

    Thanks

  14. -1 for the auction, it would basically be an invitation to rich people and the rest of the community woud get nothing.

However I could see other ways to make use of those Pokes. We could imagine releasing one of them every once in a while in one of the graveyards (Vermillon's, Lavender Tower, Mt Pyre, etc) with a very low spawnrate. It'd be unannounced and the only way for the players to know would be interacting with a tomb in the graveyard that'd say something like "Here lies xxD@rkSamuraixx, may his Lucario find peace". No information on the IVs or color, just the Pokemon name and it's up to the player whether he wants to farm or not. As soon as someone finds it, the tomb says something else.

Just throwing my 2 cents here but I feel like this would be much more RP and fair than an auction.
