The majority of players prefer a quick start to progress faster. But your topic got a point. There are already plenty of NPCs ingame that provide basic info. Its a good suggestion you made to provide a enhanced starting zone with more introduction content. Lets leave that for future updates. ATM its probably easier to google or to use certain sites for easier overview of the status changes, pokeball uses etc. also many members contributed a lot of guides to the game which u can find in the guides section.

Regarding your question. You got 2 choices there: 1. Keep it. Train it and use it as PVE poke to progress trough maps and the content. 2. Sell it. PVP wise the nature is not suitable, a big difference for certain pokes so even good IVs won't help. I wouldn't recommend Nature: Bold for the current meta. If u have other questions let us know.
