Haukionkala Posted December 29, 2015 Share Posted December 29, 2015 Personally, i prefer your method #2 with a small twist and have found it good enough to stick with it. Full Ev lvl 20's which you can just train anywhere you feel like without having to worry about gaining wrong ev's is fun :y: Edit; I also got a question. How many levels does it actually take for a low-level, full Ev trained pokemon to "unlock its true potential" No, i dont mean reaching level 100, but after your Ev's stops having effect on your level ups? My question is: Should I train my EVs to max before leveling my pokemon or can I level up my pokmeon while maxing the EVs? will the stats bonus gains be the same I always lvl my pokemon while EV training them, saves precious time. but that's my opinion son, however there are some pokemon who are abit harder to EV train so you do it in low lvl places. in your case Gastly is super easy to train, so I advise to do it while lvling. Coxyca Posted January 17, 2016 Share Posted January 17, 2016 I think I understood what you meant, I had the same question when I started training EVs on my Pokes. Your Pokemon stats won't increase more if you do its EVs soon than if you do them at lvl 100. No matter what level you start doing its EVs, in the end they'll get divided by 4 and added to their respective category.
