for me after brock it got easy to lvl up in mt moon you just gotta power thru the start

Damage is same as handhelds, that is not changed. We just increased levels of NPC's and of Gym leaders to make it a little harder.

 

You won't get a lot of money if you farm on low leveled Pokemon, we have our end game farm spots.

 

The game is easy, you just aren't using the right Pokemon for the required Gym.

 

Gym leaders have higher levels than the trainers.

 

Once again i will say the gym leaders aren't hard, the trainers are on the routes. I know how to play pokemon i one shotted brock with mankey and poliwag

this game uses DS style gen 4/5 gfx throughout.

 

EXP gain is based on gen 5, which is the same in gen 6. EV gain is based on gen 6. Please, before u come in to rant, learn2pokemon. Gen 5 was hard at the start too, blame nintendo.

Where are the 3D models then??? Nope it's GBA graphics. The exp gain sucks that's why they put a exp boost in the store. I didn't say anything about EV's except I asked if they were like the other games. It has a lot of improvement and for an admin to mouth off like that shows that the staff isn't very professional. Let me ask you if nintendo even knows about this game???

they are 2D renders of the 3D models. and infact they are rendered in 3D, just not in a way players can see.

 

if someone asks a stupid question, they get a stupid response. its pretty simple.

 

Like i said, dont like the exp system, blame nintendo because we use the exact same formula here. We put in exp boost potion to give users the chance (for a small fee) to boost their gain and level up a little faster.

 

i have seen many people compete at the top level and not spend a penny, we dont charge for people to play the game, we simply add extras to make things a little easier for people who want to support the project and ensure that we pay our server bills.

 

Dont like the grind? dont play a F2P MMO.

Also, i must appologise. I didn't realise it was you who spent 17 months and 1000's of hours of your free time painstakingly recreating images from DS pokemon games, and creating tiles that dont exist anywhere else on the internet.

Clearly its nothing like GBA, have you seen fire red?

 

This game is infact using a 3d engine, renders in 3d, all using 3d models created procedurally, just using 2d tile art..

which most are drawn by artists for PRO, and half the tiles are from the 3d games.

If you want to be an outright troll, who has no respect for our free time and work put into a free to play game.

You have no right to complain about the game either, not when it doesn't cost you anything, nor do you have to be here.

You can give constructive criticism and ideas, these are always welcome.

 

But why would anyone listen to your childish complaints when this is a hobby for us.

So what if its not 3D enough for you, we aren't a big company. Just a few fans who use our free time make what we can.

We cant magically put millions of dollars into hiring people and getting a MMO done like a company can.

 

We do it for the love of creating something for people to enjoy.

We put our hours after work, after looking after our own children, or pull allnighters even when we have to get up and goto work the next day.

 

We aren't masters at what we do, we are all learning here.

The game is in development, no one said it is complete, it even says its a beta.

We are quite aware that things are not coded yet, in time I will get to these things.

We have been out 4 months, and already are better then most Pokemon fan games out there, and they have been around for up to 8 years or some more.

You do not seem to realize that we are people too, and things cost us time, money, our personal lives, and other things too.

 

You have some ideology that we should have a perfect game, that works how you want, and is complete instantly..

How do you think that happens? Overnight? This takes time.

 

I'm not a great coder, I'm learning as I go.

As are the others working on the game.

Cut us some slack, instead of being all mad that we aren't a multi million dollar company who can just throw money into hiring people and getting everything done.

I never denied it was a good game. I really enjoy the game in fact most people who try to make this kind of game fail horribly as where you guys have not. I clearly stated that it needs alot of work. I am simply giving my review of the game and others who have reviewed this game have said things 10 times worse than what I said. We live in a world full of critics and when I see a game with very good potential I tend to give my opinion. This is a very good game and the work you have put in really shows it's just there is some stuff to fix. I'm sorry if I insulted you I was just trying to give my review.

Listen buddy if you look back on my post i clearly say "I like the GBA graphics" i wasn't insulting your graphics engine someone else got butthurt when I said GBA graphics. And I didn't say it had to be done overnight I said it needs alot of work. I shall say it again I really enjoy the game but I do not think the exp is the same as the consoles and the damage threshold is very low for the pokemon that i use. It didn't matter about IV's and EV's when you go through the story in the consoles you only EV trained after you beat the elite four and it was only used for online battles against other players. To say that you are not a good coder is a lie you are really good at what you do and the other people who work on it are equally as good. I was not trying to insult your skills, because they are really good, I was just saying my opinion. Please read these statements correctly
