Hey arkilloftw, I'm sorry for this inconvenience and this late reply. The problem might have been, that your friend typed your name wrong, or mixed it up with the Mail title. I can confirm that you never received 7 Rare Candy's. If you give me the name of your friends account, I could detect the exact issue.
