You have to go back to Pallet Town, talk to Jackson's mom and she will come and scold him off. After talking to her mom in Pallet, you can continue on to your adventure towards Route 2 on the North of Viridian City. I hope it helped!

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

It seems like you have lost against Jackson and therefore he doesn't want to fight anymore. Do note that If you lose to Jackson then you will have to return to Pallet Town and ask his mom to come and move him. His house is the one next to yours.

After that, you are free to continue your story by heading to Viridian Forest
