Caiomaist Posted June 5, 2019 Share Posted June 5, 2019 When I try to extract the .zip archive that I've downloaded from the site, all the archives but the Client goes normal. When trying to extract just the client, it shows the icon where I extract, but 1sec later it disapears. If I doubleclick on the client archive (in the zip file), it starts extracting, then opens the client normally and I can play, but can't extract the archive so it stays like in my desktop. Hi @Caiomaist 'm sorry for the inconvenience. Could you please try to download 7ZIP and then try to extract your client by using that? Normally, changing extract software it should fix most of the issues. Also, can you please make sure that you are using the administrator account of your PC? Still doesn't work, tried downloading it again, tried extracting it with 7ZIP, the client archive doesn't get extracted, it shows on the carpet, but after like 2 sec, just disappears. But I'm still able to play, but everytime I want to open the client, have to open the .zip file and double click on the client and only the client, then it opens. Thanks anyway! Could you please tell me what antivirus are you currently using? I'll try to shutdown to extract the file. [EDIT] Don't know if it's about the new client (update), but now, closing the antivirus + new client download, it worked. I'm really happy to see that your issue has been solved. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. However, just to give further information, this happen because your antivirus think of PRO as an infection and therefore delete it. Don't worry PRO doesn't contain any virus, and it's just an issue of some free antivirus. In order to proceed and solve your issue you have two options: Add the folder where you are going to extract the client as an exception to your antivirus and firewall (e.g if you extract in documents you add documents as an exception) Uninstall your antivirus, which is not really recommended as it leaves your PC without protection, but sometimes it is necessary in order to fix the issue. Do note however that it is highly not suggested to move the client on desktop, as it could create issues with the autopatcher.
