It seems like there was an error on or end that was blocking pokemon from evolving. However, the issue should now be solved. In case you should still experience that, just restart your client and re-try and it should work. There were few changes in order to stop the game to spam the evolution message at each level up, however the system seems like was not working properly. Let me know if you have been able to solve your issue and if you have any other question.
