Hey guys

 

I was doing some levelling and then this happened to me:

 

I was false swiping a Golbat in CC to 1 HP and then let my false swiper die. After that i put in a lvl 7 Cacnea with Focus Sash and the absorb i used didnt kill the Golbat. Is that a bug or intended like that?

(This is what I think happens, I am not staff and do not have any idea other than testing it myself multiple times. I don't have access to any info, so before you trust my opinion, wait for a staff to answer)

 

PRO doesn't round up the damage to 1 (the minimum of the normal pokemon games) if the attack was so innefective and weak that it didn't even reach 0.5 hit points of damage. This wouldn't happen in the originals, where you would lose a minimum of 1 hp per hit.

 

If you hit an opponent with a 1/2 or 1/4 effective move which is extremely weak (for example, doubleslapping an aggron when you're 50 levels under him), it will deal 0 damage, no matter how much you try. It won't round up to 1. If you poison sting an onix while heing at a low level, you will not deal any damage if he has a high level difference.

 

A staff can give you a better and more accurate answer, this is just my speculation from various experiences while testing this.
