Teamvf1
How does it work? It be nice if a link was posted within each official tournament thread "Click here how Showdown works." For new players to it. I looked at website and seems like you form team, punch in each exact stat, I'm guessing its automated for pro. These were my questions> -What is the level requirement? -Is level 100 the standard? -When I enter my info like others in a thread, am selected, Does pokemon pro online staff just take my user name and poof, magic, they somehow enter all my pokemon stats, moves, etc, so I don't have to, such as its automated.. and I just log into showdown and boom, battle with my team vs ? -If the above is true and X pokemon has a broken move, that prevents him from climbing ladder (because it doesn't work) so your like to climb I used a regular boring move.. can you just first climb latter, then knowing you want move X that works in showdown, last minute spend 2000 to relearn an old move that doesn't work, but bc your about to go to showdown tournement.. well it does for that instance,.. Straubs
Hello @TeamVF1 ! How does it work? It be nice if a link was posted within each official tournament thread "Click here how Showdown works." For new players to it. I looked at website and seems like you form team, punch in each exact stat, I'm guessing its automated for pro. Pokemon Showdown! is a Pokemon Battle Simulator used for competitive battling, and team building, with various formats. Pokemon Showdown! and PRO are not connected in any way, so when you do create your own team, you will not be able to copy and paste your team from PRO directly into Showdown, and vice versa. As Showdown is a Battle Simulator, you will have access to every possible combination of Pokemon that you could think of. There is no limit to which Pokemon you can create, and at no cost. This allows for everyone to have access to the perfect form of a Pokemon that they would like to use in PvP, having any IV, EV, and Nature that you want, without the need to hunt like you would in PRO. Levels are defaulted to 100, so there should be no changes to a Pokemon's level in Showdown. Also, most IVs are defaulted to 31, the highest IV a Pokemon can have, and 0, the official lowest IV a Pokemon can have. You will get to pick your desired EVs, with a total of 510 EVs at your disposal. -What is the level requirement? -Is level 100 the standard? -The level requirement, unless stated otherwise, will always be level 100. This is also the standard for tournaments hosted on Showdown and PRO alike. -When I enter my info like others in a thread, am selected, Does pokemon pro online staff just take my user name and poof, magic, they somehow enter all my pokemon stats, moves, etc, so I don't have to, such as its automated.. and I just log into showdown and boom, battle with my team vs ? - Unfortunately, as stated above, PRO and Showdown are not connected in any way, so you will need to create teams on Showdown yourself. Registration on Threads are to keep track of registered players, and a way to verify who will be invited, or notified, through the forums and Discord, if applicable. - There will be a list of rules for the Official Tournament that will list legal and illegal moves, abilities, Pokemon, items, and any combination of these. These rules may differ from each Tournament, as new content may be released in PRO during the tournament, which may or may not be illegal, even with the release on PRO. You would need to talk to a Tournament Organizer if you are not sure. Hopefully I was able to provide some clarity to your confusion with Showdown. If there is something you do not understand, or more questions arise, don't hesitate to reply to this thread. As such, I will be wating for your reply. ~Straubs 1 width=131pxhttps://i.ibb.co/P5HDkjW/literally-the-best-picture.jpg[/img] General Support • PRO Discord • Game Guides • Bug Resolution Center • Rules • Appeals • Punishment Policy • Report Center Do not contact Staff members for private support.
