A different way to obtain legendaries.

In another fan made pokemon mmorpg that is long gone, there was a 1/1000 chance to find a legendary or mythical pokemon anywhere as long as it has been seen by the player.

But of course, this would make it a but easier to find the legendary or mythical the player would want. So i suggest that the player must have caught or defeated that legendary to get the 1000 chance, otherwise it would be a higher chance, such as 2000 5000 or 10000. This could help the players as the legendary or mythical they have caught may not have good ivs or nature, there could also be chance enhancing items in the store for real money, but its still up to the devs

I mean, reroll tickets exist for a reason (I understand it may be annoying that they rely on a chance though). I also don't completely like giving a pay to win option to improve legendaries while I understand donations will improve the game indirectly too. The mechanic for finding a legendary absurdly anywhere is stupid imo (not disrespectfully, I mean). Doing the quest always has the same organised steps towards the same goal, you can prepare for it in advance, work for it and set up a team for it. Nikola is also there to obtain a legendary in case you failed or the first one was trash.

 

Other issues I see with this: infinite legendaries per account? On a random number chance? In any route? Like, I go and hunt magikarp and suddenly I find a landorus out of nowhere and I haven't gotten ready at all and I must keep in mind at all times that a legendary cam spawn anywhere at any time? Complete -1 from my perspective. There are reroll tickets available for this and they're reliably easy to get.

Sorry, but I don't know see the Problem here. Like Bhimoso already said are there Reroll Tickets, which can be purchased by PVP/PVE Coins or can be obtained from News Reporter as a 7th day reward or bought from other players with Pokedollars. There are IV rerolls, Nature rerolls (where you get to pick the nature) and Ability Capsules that will change the ability for your Legendary Poke. So as soon as you caught it you can reroll everything till you are happy with it. :-)
