Hello, due to recent updates that seem to be focussed on trying to make our lives harder in the current economy, i thought that besides complaining about our staff and their decisions, it'd be nice to put an idea forward aswell.

Every mmo has certain ways of forcing their playerbase to sink money into something, so instead of reducing our gains by limiting our boss content and / or rewards, maybe we should implement a way so that we can use our money towards something that is also beneficial for us, the players.

For example, (and please note that this is just an example of what a money sink could be for a game like pro and is by no means an actual suggestion)

The possibility of nature & iv reroll on non legendary pokemon.

You could make it so that nature & iv rerolls for non legendary pokémon are completely randomised (unlike the tickets, where you can choose the nature you'd want)

And sell said rerolls for say 600k. But also make it so that once you use the reroll function, the pokemon is no longer trade able.

And again, i want to make it clear that this is just an idea and example of what a money sink could be for a game like pro. This way, we could sink our money into something that we can also benefit from in the end. Cause this would allow us to have decent pokémon without ruining the trade economics. However, a money sink can be many things and does not have to include any of the above. I'm just trying to explain the idea of a money sink.

In my oppinion, adding more money sinks to this game is a healthy way of balancing the economy, rather than cutting down income from bosses which only increases the gap between rich players and players who are starting out.

+1 could come up with some very easy money sink ( Make some items in the coin shop purchasable with pokedollers like cosmetics or the ram/ flash light etc) but keep the MS and Coin caps and mounts real money only.

This is a bad idea as it means that the staff have to set a value for cc worth instead of letting supply and demand set the price

Yeah, we just need to create more ways to spend money towards something that is also beneficial for us. That way its encouraging to keep doing bosses, and keep making money cause we'd have new goals to work towards. Instead of discouraging everyone from doing any bosses by limiting content which lets be honest is already limited.

not at all cc/ms always have more value than cosmetics./mounts

CC and MS would stay how it is where you can only get it by purchasing it with real money.

so the value would still be more/be able to change due to demand.

Okay everyone, before you raise your pitchforks just hear me out on this.

I know what it's like to have bosses as a main source of income in PRO. I may not be doing on the extreme as some people do with multiple accounts, but the PVE content is what I spend most of my time playing this game. I do not think the bosses were game breaking and needed a fix. But you need to look at this in a different light, and deep down I think you know why this change was made.

I can't be the only one that gets really tired of slogging through all the bosses in one day. Yes you don't have to, but you feel obligated to. That's where the problem lies. For those who have alt accounts to do this, I just want you to take a step back and think about how much time you actually spend doing bosses and how much it eats up your playtime, and think about what other things you could be doing in this game..or even real life for that matter.

Bosses is not the only source of obtaining money. It's not the end of the world, it may feel like it right now out there but please don't let that kind of mentality seep into the game we love to escape from it.

I have 4 accounts, I boss regularly on exactly 0 of them, I don't feel obligated at all.

Personally, I would like the change to be reverted. But, if something is to change, I think a money sink would be the best solution.

Some money sink ideas could be:

1. A better casino. Like the old casino, but with better rewards. The current casino doesn't seem worth it, but I haven't tried it so I can't really opine.

2. A secret/player base. This could be a spot to chill with friends. There could be decorations buyable with pokedollars to make each base unique.

3. Exchange pokedollars for PvE coins. This one could possibly have some bad repercussions but they could be worked around or just briefly tested and then removed if it doesn't work.

4. More cosmetics buyable with pokedollars. There are already lots of cosmetic shops in game, but better and/or more cosmetics would be nice.

5. An island with only rare spawns. This could be a sailor that you pay X amount of money to access the island.

6. An area with higher level pokemon than anywhere else. Similar to the previous one, you would pay X amount of money to access this area.

Aside from the money sink, there are other options. Limiting content should never be one of them.

Thanks for your reply Gio, i especially like the idea of a secret hideout, sounds like a cool thing to add for guilds ^^ and indeed if they add placeable chairs and things like that so we can decorate the place to our own liking, that'd be a huge money sink. And a active way to bring guilds to work together.
