Do you have any Escape Ropes in your bag? If you can get someone to come where you are, you can send them a battle request and log out while in battle :) you'll be teleported to your last visited pokecenter.

 

If you find no friends to help you out, you can wait for a Staff response.

    If you walked through him it could be a collision issue. It's weird that once you went through him you couldn't escape though.
