So i was doing the quest for the mega starters, and i ev + lvl trained it, but now im here by oak and i cannot submit this venusaur because he asked for a bulbasaur, is there any way i could do that doesn't require me to hunt + train another bulbasaur? tysm!

You dont need max happiness for that quest. The problem is that you probably didnt show the bulbasaur first. You need to show a bulbasaur first and train it after that.

From what I know you have no other choice but to catch another bulbasaur.
