Hey there!

First of all, PRO staffs don't do any price checks on a Pokemon while being logged in on their staffs accounts as it can affect the economy.
However, it's possible that revealed staffs, playing on their player account, do price checks or sell Pokemon on their own interpration of their prices.
For Discord mods, they are free to do price checks as they don't count to the staff team and are normal players, who moderates over the PRO discord sever.

Having a PC or laptop is very essential. It makes it easier to navigate through our tools, answer threads and moderate ingame.
Some stuff can also be  done with mobile, however you can't only be on a mobile phone to do your duties.

I forgot to mention about Discord moderators. I don't know how they handle stuff. You would need to ask them directly.
