Valentines Walkthrough 2021

Hello again guys, with the release of the Valentine's event. I've decided to make this guide. To help you enjoy and feel the love of this event.

To start of the quest we must head over to Aphrodia Island. The island can be accessed from any port city (Vermilllion, Olivine, Lilycove and Canalave) by speaking to Sailor Jenny. 

 

If you haven't already done part 1 of the quest it's the same as last years. Here is a guide. 

 

For part 2 to occur we must have completed part 1.

 

Once we enter the Island we will be greeted by Mayor Shiro as we did last year. There is another dilemma which we must help her out in regards to the pokémon population being stableand you must agree to help them. Once agreeing to help her, you will be introduced to Ayva a conservationists who will explain more of what's needed to be done.

We will now unlock a new area called Nido Isle we must head over there to help Ayva with her task.

 

Once you have arrived on the Island head all the way south and speak to Ayva. The first task she gives you is to tag the Nidoking's and Nidoqueen's which have recently become parents so they do not get captured by trainers. 

 

To make this task easier we will need a Pokémon with the move Thunder Wave to neutralise some of the pokémon. There will be a total of 10 Nidoking's and Nidoqueen's you have to tag (5 each). Some you will have to battle some you can just select a pokémon to neutralise them to make the tagging easier. Once we are done with this task. Head back and speak to Ayva. She will explain that one of the Nidoqueen seems to be upset about what's happening on a neighbouring island. So she advises we go check out what's going on there.

Once we enter Medusas Cloud, we will need to go and find Ayva. She will be located in the middle of the swampy area near a Valentine themed male Jellicent. Speak to the Jellicent.

 

Ayva will speak to us and wil tell us that the Jellicent is acting weird similar to the Nidoqueen and theorises that they want to meet. More dialogue will occur however we will need to agree that they are in love and speak to another conservationists to help the Jellicent and Nidqueen be together.  

 

We must now head south west of the map to find the conservationists named Aphelios.

 

Unfortunately however he won't be able to help so you and Ayva will make another plan to be able to make this love story happen. 

 

 

To begin our final task on Medusas Cloud, speak to Ayva. She will explain to us how we must bring the pokémon couple over to another island.

 

 

Our task is pretty simple we have to find rope which baby frillish are playing with there are 5 ropes to be found and will be guarded by the Frillish. So we must take the rope. 

 

Over here we will need a pokémon who knows the move Tickle or Sing. So if we do counter the Frillish we will be able to calm them down.  Do not battle all the Frillish. If they are all defeated by you the mother Jellicent will come and stop us in our tracks which will cause us to restart the task again. Misckling the wrong Pokémom with the move multiple times will cause the Frillish to end up getting upset which will cause their mother to come.

After finding all the Rope, speak to Ayva again. She will go on ahead with Jellicent to the Island and we will have to go and collect Nidoqueen back on Nido Isle.  

 

We will have to go to Nido Isle during night time (20:00 - 04:00 ingame time) to go and help Nidoqueen escape as that is when the conservationists who looks after the place will be off duty. 

 

You will see that the map is fill with Drifloon and Drifblim. As of now they won't be of any harm. What we should do is head into the barn to go and collect the Nidoqueen

She will be the Valentines formed one as shown in the image above.

 

Speak to her and walk outside. She will now follow you around, you must bring her to the Valentine Difblim. If she sees you infront of her, she will walk towards you no matter the distance. However you must avoid the detection of the Drifloon and Drifblim. If you detect them chances are they will explode to wake up the Nidoking and you will have to redo this task again so take your time. 

 

Once you have brought her to the Valentine Drifblim you will be attacked by the Nidoking. He will be level 90 and you will have to defeat it to carry on. After defeating him we will then have to meet Ayva on another island called Dragons Neck.

Once on Dragons Neck speak to Ayva once again. She will move forwards on the map to get further ahead of the other conservationists so they don't get caught so now we will need to sneak or way through the cloud path to not get caught. I will show you the pathing to do to avoid detection and frustration.  

 

All you have to do is follow route here to make it to the 4th Column of Clouds. Once you have reached you will receive a dialogue saying the clouds will disappear/aren't very strong. So you have around 5 seconds to make it across.  Any pathing from their on can work but you will just need to be quick. You might greed for the item in the pokeball after the cloud path. However the item is a Dragon Scale so it's up to you if you want it. Once done head all the way to the end of thr Island and speak to Ayva. Dialogue will occur between you and Ayva about the Salamence Mega Stone. She mentions that Shiro has a Mega Stone however she was not able to control her Salemance with it. Mayor Shiro will arrive and talk more about the Mega Stone. She says that if you defeat her in battle she will reward you the stone. So you must defeat her in order to get it.

 

Her team: 

Difblim, Alomomola, Nidoking, Sawk, Clefable and Mega Salamence.  

 

Once you've defeated her, speak with her and you'll need to wait 10-15 minutes to receive the Mega Stone from her. 

 

 

Work in progress - will make it look purty later. However, how to get the Salamence Mega Stone is fully there will add how to get the bow cosmetc later. Enjoy. For now

Hi @Waleed1301 I already finished all the quest and I got the mega salamander stone but there is no wings ? I can't find those Pokemon (Altaria..) ?

Why I'm not recived "SALAMENCITE"

In order to receive megastones like the one for Salamence you need to have the Mega Bracelet. To get that you have to fullfill a task for the Assistant NPC in the Vermillion Library.

yeah but if u dont have it the assistant will take it and u get the salamencite after getting the mega bracelet
