Bug Catching Contest

Hi, so i've done the bug catching contest a few hours before 12:00 GMT+0, and a couple of hours after 12:00 GMT+0 i went to do the contest again, the npc told me i'm already done for today and i have to wait another 18 hours (which never happened before), so i went to the extra cool down npc, and he said the bug catching area is accessible again, i went to the bug catching area again, spoke with the npc and the answer still the same, so is this a new system or is it a bug?

Are you still experiencing this issue and does it happen every time you try to do the contest?

It may be an issue with the Extra Cooldown Checker NPC specifically, rather than with the contest and its cooldown.

yes i'm still experiencing this issue, but this time in my alternate account, it seems to be random , and now i'm sure it's a bug, the issue is not with the extra cool down npc, because i only went to check it just to make sure this is not a new system for the contest, Thank You.

My apologies for the extreme delay. Your thread was lost amongst the rest.

 

There was an issue regarding the server time after a server change. They were two hours off, so the Bug Catching Contest would have been affected by this.

If you still have this problem, try doing it two hours earlier than usual.
