Is this combination prohibited? I say it because in original games it is, it must be light metal to be possible.

The combination is, indeed, prohibited. Here is an excerpt from our PvP Rules, which I encourage you to read.

Keep in mind, that if it has Light Metal and then Mega evolves, and has Curse, it is still allowed.
