Started the Game and I get stuck in Professors Oak Lab

When starting the game, I went to Professors Oak Lab to you know, get my pokemon. I did but when I talk to him the only thing that is said is [ERROR: Function "exitscript" not found or has 0 parameters!] So I try to leave but he says he needs to talk to me so I am stuck in his lab, I try this in both Gold and Silver Servers and nothing worked. I can't talk in the chat to get help since I'm new.

I don't know what to do and I will like it if someone can help me through this. I'm not sure if it's a file thing within the game or somethings not right.

Hey, unfortunately that error message is a known issue for a lot of stuff and only came up recently, the devs are already aware and work on it though.

However it actually does not prevent you from anything, you can just go ahead and choose your starter from the 3 pokeballs and start your journey.
