I dont know if this is the right section for general questions, but I didnt find anything else more fitting.

 

So my question: Is shiny hunting a thing in this game? Like, can u dedicate to that, or is it just to rare and random?!

I guess theres no way to make hunting easier like chain hunting or friend safari hunting. But how are the odds?

odds are 1/8192. as far as i know there is no way to increase your chance.

you can buy shiny from other players. but it's unlikely to find rare shiny pokemons. and they will be really expensive if you find one selling
