while surfing on route 117 near the large tree there is a graphics error where the outline of the ground is transparent over the player.

Can you provide a picture of the graphic error you've reported? 

its hard to tell unless your moving but the shading for the ledge is over my body

first of all I want to thank you for taking the time to report this issue. Unfortunately there is no easy solution for this case due to restrictions from how layering is working and the overall functionality of the editor.
It would be needed to rework larger areas of the map to be able to fix this small issue in a satisfying manner.

Nonetheless reports about map issues like that are greatly appreciated. If you should encounter any other issue with a map dont hesitate to create another topic so we can take a look into it.
