why does shaymin's iv not change after i recapture it?

i finished the quest and caught the shaymin, since the iv stat wasn't that high i dropped it and hit nikola so i could catch a new shaymin better iv, but after catching the new shaymin i see the iv stat still not change even though pokemon id has difference ? Can someone explain it to me?

Shaymin and some other legendaries (Keldeo for example) cannot be rerolled using Nikola, as this is not the intended purpose of the boss. This boss only serves as an option for players who lost connection or mistakenly fainted the legendary during their battle to catch it. You will have to use rerolls tickets if you would like to have a better shaymin.
