The rule your thinking of for a written agreement, works for if im on the Silver Server but want to buy a Pokemon on the Gold Server. I would tell the player I will be willing to transfer or have them transfer to me. However, this is a Cross Server Auction so at the end of the Auction since you are the seller you will be reliable to transfer servers if need be.
