All the money that they earn from donations and such goes into the servers atm. So they earn nothing from this.

Beyond their ability to make a new server, I wonder whether it would be beneficial for the community to be split even more? A third server will either split the community more or have everyone congregate on 'the best' server, at-least when considering the dedicated PVPers.

Idk why they chose to make servers split. They could have joint servers where everyone is "together" yet they are able to log on any server. For example, you have your account. Your account can log on any server and have the same progress. Think runescape servers where atm we use WoW like servers. Runescape servers are far better for the community.

It would be really nice, but its as easy as you think.

136521 Adding the second server could have been a bit complicated. However, when adding the 2nd server, they should have put in the framework to be able to add/remove servers at will. So it mostly comes down to is it financially acceptable to add another server? Any game is a business. You think people just do this because "they want to". They do this to earn money. If opening a third server will net them more money, then they will do it. If not, they won't. Simple as that

Well we don't actually make money off of this. Is all volunteerism. All donations go to keeping the servers up and protected.
