Excavation sites | suggestions to revamp & revitalise the experience

Featured Replies

Good day.

Having done quite a bit of excavation sites, it has come to a point where it starts to feel very monotonous and almost not worth it to do these on a daily basis.

In an attempt to restore some life to this aspect of the game, please see some of my suggestions below:

1) Incorporating Alolan regional variants into the spawns (albeit at a high rarity).

2) Incorporating some spawns for difficult to obtain pokemon (Dhelmise, Rockruff, etc.)

There might be some disagreement on this point, as some of these are guild island only and some guilds would argue that these should remain exclusive. I think this would be quite balanced, however, owing to the fact that as rare spawns, they will come across less frequently owing to limited static spawns a day & heightened rarity.

3) Artifact points

Currently these can be used to buy set items from the historical excavation site. However, I think it would be good for these points to be convertible to PvE coins (albeit it at a balanced conversion ratio).

An insane suggestion was made by Norex which covers Excavations entirely if you wanna have a look.
