I'd like to inform you that on Android, sometimes APK Files fail to update over the older version of the App already installed. Thus, it is always preferred that you uninstall the app, in this case, the client. Then install the updated APK to not face any such issues. @Omardaley I see that you were able to login with your account, so I believe the issue was resolved too. Note that extracting files part of the update depends on your device so sometimes it can experience a slowdown. I will now lock this thread.
