Although it would be great to have players stay active every day, which will probably happen considering how awesome this game is turning out, I don't think giving them Pokemoney is helpful. Some players may abuse it. Example, player 1 logs in 100 days in a row, gets the "bonus" everyday, and has a lot of money without even actually playing. Whereas player 2 plays everyday and grinds it out hunting and training, and still gets the same bonus as player 1. I think putting in a bunch of hours and having the ability to catch extremely rare Pokemon is the best reward, which will encourage players tp actually play the game instead of just logging in.

But everyone can receive the "daily bonus" that means both players will be rewarded at the same level.

I think this is a great idea, and Pokémoney is a great reward for it too. Heck, I'd even suggest something further that for X amount of continuous daily logins, the player would get "coins" or whatever currency PRO will use for membership/mounts/berry packs.

I like this idea. But id also want the bonus to be small common items too, not just money every day. Like for example 1 day u get 2500 pokedollars, the next day u get 5 oran berries, and the day after, 3 great balls. U see whare im coming from?

You read my mind Arnie. I like the idea of getting common items through daily bonuses.

I think playtime milestone rewards would be better. When a player reaches 1, 10, 100, etc. hours, that player receives something.

The problem with login rewards is the example I said before that some people misunderstood

Player A) Logs in every day, does nothing else, has zero badges, receives $xxx in Pokemoney

Player B) Logs in every day, plays for hours, has eight badges, receives $xxx in Pokemoney

Both receive same rewards, see the problem here?

Yeah, that is true. I believe in a system where if you work hard, things will turn out nicely for you. If play hours has a loophole in that you aren't actually playing, maybe the player can receive rewards for badges or milestones on the Pokedex, i.e. getting 10, 100 caught.

The thing is the daily bonus would be designed to help newer players get an item or 2 they might not afford (in the case of great balls for example)

 

We also came up with restricting daily bonuses to 1 per IP when i pitched the tweaked idea (including possible bonus items) to the rest of the team.

 

The bonuses would be tiny by the way. But enough to feel that u got something for free.
