Add a QoL item in Coin Shop that allows you to use repels automatically instead of manually clicking it every time one ends.

How would it work? You buy repel loader for X amount of coins from coin store. It goes into Key Items in your bag. You click it, it goes on, you click it again, it goes off. What it do? When it's on it uses your repels auto so u dont have to manually click one every time.

Counter argument: Why waste time on something like this? Just click it yourself, bro.

Counter counter argument: Then why do we have other QoL stuff like pickaxe, flashlight, spade, etc. Those are same line of QoL.

I don't think it would be hard to code in and it would be nice to some people who hunt a lot of repel trick pokemons.

Biggest benefit I see here is that you wouldn't need to monitor your repel count and could just focus on something else. I like to watch youtube, netflix, etc while I'm hunting pokes. I would find use for this and can't see how this wouldnt be more useful than some of the other items offered in store currently.

Another suggestion to this topic could be if we could press "yes or no" with something from keyboard so it would be easier to automate the process of having to click. Or if we could use another repel while one repel is active, so basically to skip the dialog.

Hey, that was already suggested a couple of times and was denied since players are wanted to pay at least minimum attention to the game while hunting.

I get this. I really do. To give some context one of my most played games is OSRS (oldschool runescape) and it's a constant battle between purists who think adding QoL stuff makes it easier and people who just want to have better time gaming. That said I think you can logically draw a line between straight up annoying stuff and stuff that shouldn't be made easier to keep the oldschool feeling and make it so achieving stuff feels rewarding. I think this very much falls into the box thats labeled ''straight up annoying''. I believe you guys are trying to make a fun engaging game to everyone. Just like OSRS right now isn't scared of evolving their game to fit todays gamer, I feel a lot of places could learn from their ways. If you don't want to, cool. I'm not making this suggestion thinking it'll hurt this game. If you feel you know more than me and this is better, ok. Cool. And one more thing to add: it shouldn't be a problem as long as the game has other active content that draws your attention in. There is nothing wrong to make one place require less focus, especially if that part is super tedious to do.

I would personally like this as well. I offered the repel loader suggestion so there's more incentive from dev side to do it. It would help both the game and the player.

You can close this thread. I came to conclusion that my chances of getting good outcome here I would be happy with is almost zero. Judging from the reply I got. (Like at least put a bit more effort into the response if you're gonna reply no. ex. Why is less focus bad? Why paying attention in this part of gameplay is so crucial??).

I gotta love the arguments ''you think you do but you don't'', worked well for blizzard, right? Or ''it bad''.

I don't think coming up with ideas is players' job in the first place. But if you do not want to take them when they're offered to you on a silver platter then maybe do not have them up in the first place. Are they just there to create false hope for ppl? Do they workout only in scenarios where once in blue moon they happen to align with what someone from the deciding team thinks? Nobody knows. Anyway, my bad. Won't be making suggestion again. And fyi I will play this game as long as I feel it's fun. Once I feel it fails my expectations I will move to another game. If you are content with how the game runs right now all power to you.

Sorry for taking up your time.
