Getting into an encounter with a wild pokemon while going up a waterfall glitches the game and freezes your character, the only way out is to re log which brings you to the last poke center with your pokemon healed (including sync) This happens to me quite frequently. The easiest fix would be to prevent encounters while in a waterfall.

I have encountered this bug as well. I clarified about this with a senior PRO player a while ago (Norex) in discord. even though it is quite a troublesome bug, for now the Devs are busy with the event maps and other maps (astrella) it seems, and changing one bit of code may cause some variable in the other areas.

for now sorry for the inconvenience caused and please do use a repel in order to avoid this bug. It will be resolved in the upcoming future soon i believe.

Hey, just to clarify as that is not what I have said. Developers do not work on event maps or Astrella, thats for the content-team.
