How to deal with dragon dance?

Featured Replies

I have met many enemies whose Dragonite or Gyarados use Dragon dance. Then they always attack before me and 1 shot my whole team. What should I do when they use Dragon dance?

Paralyze the target, or try it to outspeed it through SandRush ability when SandStorm is active. Or try Ice Shard (prior move) against Dragonite for example. Or try to sleep them and set up your own poke, or whirlwind/roar the opponent. Lots of options

I hope that this helps

Paralyze (-75% Speed/Can get fully paralyzed)/Burn the target (-50% Atk)

Defensive Rock/Steel Pokémon like Skarmory or Tyranitar.

Playing Pokémon Moon... I will come back >:)

Get a weavile. Watch them cry with your priority ice move. Ice shard OP.

Weavile crys against extreme speed :Heart-eyes: :Heart-eyes:

If your chances of paralyzing or burning the target is slim (because most gyarados and dragonites carry lum berries), you can always. whirlwind/roar it away.
