To better assist you, would you be able to provide me with a few screenshots? Your player next to the surfable water on Route 40 attempting to use your Lapras Mount. Your player next to the surfable water on Route 40 attempting to surf with a Pokemon that knows the move Surf. In both of the requested screenshots, be sure to capture both the player position as well as the chat box so that I can see the position of your character along with the notification message, if one occurs, in the chat box.
