Jhonvga
We've been a long time without a relevant update to the game, without any truly significant additions to the game's health. I'm going to list some points and want to see if you agree with me or what you think is happening. - They implemented Gen 9 with an incomplete Gen 7. - There's a lack of moves for Pokémon, both Gen 7 and Gen 9. - Why can't we evolve Pokémon into their regional forms? (It could be a quick event like WQ or OTB so we can capture or evolve our Pokémon into their regional forms.) - Many items are missing, as well as more detailed descriptions of some. - They promise and announce a lot, like a Mudkip skin today. But as we've seen in the last few announcements, the only thing that actually arrived was Summer Island (very late, and I hope it doesn't interfere with the upcoming events). - MS (Membership) is simply a very average item, something I can occasionally go without for a long time, since there aren't enough or even decent benefits for it. Honestly, I feel like I'm being left behind. The game has a lot of potential, but the details need improvement. Player retention is horrible... Enough with the "fake" announcements, with things that will be released in a year... two years... or never even seen... like the SW Forms that were announced, and there wasn't even a SW event... Anyway, just a report from a relatively active player in the game. 1 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/263549-whats-going-on-with-pro/ Share on other sites

I was watching a video from 6 YEARS AGO, and the game hasn't changed at all, 0 improvements. Today you only see skin announcements, every 10-50 skin announcements they make a "relevant" announcement like the boots that arrived in the game. But they delay so much, make so many mistakes and don't follow through on what they say, that I, my guild and company are completely disbelieving of this announcement. Just watch the last 10 announcements and see what actually arrived in the game... Not to mention that the guild panel has been bugged for over 3 months and nothing has been fixed xd look Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/263549-whats-going-on-with-pro/#findComment-1618324 Share on other sites
Masterakali
+1 I feel exactly the same way, for someone who plays a lot. The game has tremendous potential to attract players; they just don't want it. 1 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/263549-whats-going-on-with-pro/#findComment-1618332 Share on other sites

Developer Eaty Posted 3 hours ago Developer Share Posted 3 hours ago Absolutely nonsensical post. I can understand the frustration that comes up when there haven’t been updates for a while, but I’ve repeatedly provided updates explaining the longer wait time and also posted an extensive upcoming changelog for the next release, so you are not left in the dark without information. The text fix in the guild tab you mentioned is also part of the changelog. On 8/12/2025 at 8:27 PM, Eaty said: The gibberish text in the PvP replay window and guild member window will be replaced with the correct text. https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/3146-update-logs/page/25/#comment-1602280 On top of that, I posted multiple status updates, expanded the changelog, and even shared videos of the box rework, the actual reason for the longer wait. I think we did a lot to keep you all properly informed. And as I already said many times before, the forms have no impact on the release. Artists work on them separately from the rest of the release, and we should be grateful that they dedicate so much of their time to giving us such a wide range of high-quality forms. That should never be seen as a point of criticism in that context. 2 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/263549-whats-going-on-with-pro/#findComment-1618353 Share on other sites
Gio
It’s always disappointing seeing posts like this. All you’re telling us is you don’t pay attention or don’t appreciate what is added/updated. Claiming there’s been 0 improvements in 6 years is such a slap in the face to the entire Staff team and their efforts. Luckily, PRO is full of players that do appreciate everything that’s been added and you’re in a tiny minority, that unfortunately is loud. I can name many improvements to the game in the last 6 years, such as: - Mega Pokemon (2020) - Z-Crystals/Mono-Type Tournament (2023) - Xmas Dungeon - Lavender Dungeon (2023) - Victini Dungeon - Pinkan Dungeon (2024) - Hoopa Dungeon (2024) - PvP Chests (2025) - Updates to existing features like Solaceon (2025), Celadon (2024), Sinnoh Underground (2025), Mirage Island (2022), among other smaller ones. - Trainer rework for every region (2023) - Gym Leader & Elite Four rework (2022) - Fishing Contest & Multi Bug Catching Contest (2023) - Trainers Tower (2023) - Many new moves, such as Trailblaze, Flip Turn, etc. - Many new Pokémon added, such as Blacephalon, Growlithe-Hisui, and Kleavor These are all the rather big content additions, not to mention all the smaller additions as well as the balance changes. Of course there are also all the maps, forms, mounts, cosmetics, chromas, and the scripting plus testing that comes with adding content. Just because you don’t see the changes or they don’t affect your experience, doesn’t mean work isn’t being done and even those who do appreciate won’t know what is being done in the background. I get there’s frustration and I would like more content as well, but let’s not discredit all the time and effort that’s being put in by both the Content and Moderation team. Remember that all Staff are volunteers who use their personal free time to dedicate towards a free game. Let’s be appreciative of what we have. 4 1 Join Nabs discord server | Silvernabs Guild Shop Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/263549-whats-going-on-with-pro/#findComment-1618359 Share on other sites
Poopsmagoops
It’s a small team doing the best they can with the time they have. I’m sure if they could instantly make constant updates they would but clearly that’s not feasible. Nor should it be expected to be done. They have added many new fun things we didn’t have before like mentioned above. And have more to bring in the future. It can’t happen instantly. Coding takes time and testing as well. People have been asking for a box update for a long time, they are working on making it perfect for us and people find a new reason to complain before they can even finish working on the previous complaint. Enjoy the game for what it is. Simple as that 2 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/263549-whats-going-on-with-pro/#findComment-1618371 Share on other sites

That should never be seen as a point of criticism in that context. I thought it was a bit arrogant of you to call the post completely meaningless, even though two players above confirm the same feeling regarding the change log. You and I know that the only thing posted in the official PRO discord announcements that actually arrived was Summer Island, with an extreme delay. I believe we could debate this for hours, maybe days. Older PRO players can add to what's being said. And the post is just a respectful discussion I'd like to have with the community to see if this "abandoned game" feeling is only happening to me! Honestly, the "completely meaningless post" is quite arrogant of you. Admitting mistakes, flaws, and complications within the team to implement major changes would be more honest. I think you might not have fully understood the form factor. New players (something very difficult) might actually feel the hype, or a strong desire to play the game, because of this factor. As for us, older players who play several hours a day, we miss something that truly changes the game or makes a difference. Whether this mudkip skin comes or not doesn't really matter, because the game will continue and remain the same. You and I know this has been a very difficult year for the PRO. The artists' work is truly impressive and beautiful; I don't want them to stop. However, the honest feeling that the vast majority have is that this is all that's being done. Significant improvements like the BOX redesign, which is coming (no one knows when, I don't believe even the team knows), are something the community has always wanted and have been in development for YEARS (if they didn't start this year, or last month, or last week, or even yesterday). Your comment is very valuable, and I hope you follow along and see the general feedback! Have a great day and good work, everyone! Remember that all Staff are volunteers who use their personal free time to dedicate towards a free game. Let’s be appreciative of what we have. I'll answer this in parts, up to Sinnoh Underground. When I say significant improvements, I'm referring to the game's health. There's a wealth of content. The vast majority of those interested have already played it dozens of times. Or those who aren't interested have never played it or won't. The complexity is so great that it reminds me of dungeons from big MMORPG titles. I don't see the need for this, since it's a Pokémon game, and even though it's an MMO, the Legends quests shouldn't require so many hours or be so complex, nor should they be dependent on other players (I know that's what makes an MMO an MMO). But you're forgetting a very important point: where's this "player base" you mention? If you filter all online players carefully, 20-30% are alts, and you know this, because I myself know massive players who play on 2-3 accounts. So the actual player count can be frustrating. Most of the remaining pro players are veterans who have already done much of what you mentioned dozens or maybe hundreds of times, even with the problems I mentioned above. Something simple like a box redesign (which is coming soon... I think...), a layout redesign, such simple things, you know... details that would increase retention and attract new players. I'm very grateful for what we have, and that's precisely the reason for the post. I think you just read it and left this comment. I was simple and direct, which means it requires a bit of text interpretation. I believe that based on your comment, you must be a frequent player, and you know we have major problems in the game. The fact that the post exists is because these comments are very necessary for the game's growth. Criticism and questioning motivate any project! Criticism is necessary! "Several new Pokémon": Grow Hisui, Voltorb Hisui, Ursaluna, Kleavor... and obtaining them requires enormous bureaucracy, something that a monthly spot for Grow and Voltorb would solve. And Ursaluna and Kleavor EVO items should be sold in the PvE/PvP shop. The game's health is very important; anything you have to do in-game requires an absurd grind if you're not rich or have an absurd amount of time. But anyway. Your comment mentioning everything that's been added to the game over time is very valuable. But do you remember Christmas when we hit 1,000 players? It was crazy, so many new players, the maps were full again, you could feel the game really moving, something alive. And where did those 500/600/300 people go? They flopped from the game. Of course, not everything is perfect, and not every game is for everyone, but if necessary, I can gather people's feedback and pass it on to you here if necessary. Otherwise, your participation was excellent, and I hope you follow the thread. Besides you and the Dev, two other players, besides me, feel this lack of something more extravagant. Masterkalli, who is always online and hunting, agrees with what was said. The game's current player base is old, and mentioning something from 2-3-4 years ago is probably something that almost everyone online now has already done. Have a good afternoon, and have a great game.
