Well, my game, I simply downloaded the new version, but out of nowhere it started to stop working. I can no longer download the 64-bit version, and now every time I download it, my PC stops opening the zip file and shows that it is a virus. and I can't play, I can't download anymore and I don't know how to solve it, I was playing a little until now and this only happens on the computer, on my cell phone it works normally.

Hey,

I'm sorry that you're having this problem,

Ever since the patch two days ago, users are complaining of their anti-virus programs false flagging PRO and deleting files that are necessary for the game to run. The developers take measures to avoid this as best as possible by uploading PRO's files to popular anti-virus services to get them scanned and approved ahead of time, but when critical bugs are found and hot fixes are performed, the services begin to falsely flag the same files again and the dilemma repeats itself.

To get around this issue, the simplest option is to install the 32-bit version of the game for the time being, which should not trigger any anti-virus false-positives. The 32-bit version does not cause significantly lesser performance, and installing it is a temporary fix while popular anti-virus services scan and approve PRO's new files. If this for any reason does not work, or if you would prefer not to use the 32-bit version, here is a step-by-step guide to circumventing the issue:

  1. Turn off Windows Defender & any other anti-virus software temporarily.
  2. Find a location on your computer where you would like to store the game, and create a folder named "PRO". Once done, minimize this window for now.
  3. At the bottom of your screen, click on the search bar, type windows security, and click on the option that shows up. Make sure the option you click on brings you to a Windows settings window with the aforementioned name and not to Bing's online search results.
  4. In Windows Security, click on the "Virus & threat protection".  Under "Virus & threat protection settings", click "Manage settings". Scroll down to the section for "Exclusions", and then click "Add or remove exclusions". After accepting the Windows Security request, you can click "+ Add an exclusion". You will then pick the folder that will contain your PRO game files. Now Windows Defender will ignore this folder when looking for security threats.
  5. Download PRO and extract the .zip to the folder you earlier named "PRO". Do NOT use any downloaded PRO files you obtained before you started this checklist process.
  6. Launch PROClient.exe, and try logging in.
  7. Turn on your Windows Defender again!
  8. If the above doesn't work, restart your PC, try launching PRO, and then start these steps over only if the problem persists.

Lastly, if you are still having issues, it's worth trying to run the PRO launcher as an administrator.

Anti-virus programs should stop false-flagging PRO's files after a few days, but for now these are your best options.

Please let me know if your problem persists, or if you are using a different OS than windows,

Ayroo
