I’d like to know up to which ranking position players are allowed to enter, because I got 18th place and can’t access it — I thought it would be similar to the top 25 in PvP.

 

Another thing: many players achieved very high scores, so I’d like to know how the system filters or verifies who actually hunted honestly, since we know some players might be using irregular tools.

The event requires a group of players to submit Pokemon caught in Phantasm Land during the 24 hour hunting period given to your group. The full list of submittable Pokemon can be seen through the NPC by talking to them and looking at the more information section.

In order to gain access to the Haunted Cave Depths, you and your team must be one of the top teams. This is determined by the overall score (based on Pokemon submission).

If you are aware of players breaking game rules, do not hesitate to file a report in the appropriate Report Section of the forums. Be sure to review the "How to Report" thread before submitting your report.

As the information in my original response has deprecated, I will provide updated information. 

 

The allotted time to hunt has been reduced from 24 hours to 12 hours. In order to gain access to the Haunted Depths, your team needs to be in the top 50%.
