Question about mega sharpedo and mega camerupt quest

So, in the first challenge (to break the rock) how do i know wich pokemon to chose? What are the requirements to "break the rock better"? I saw some guides and people recomend rampardos, but i dont have it

 

Also in the last challenge (the swim competition), what pokemon is recommended? i used Ludicolo but i got only pokemon with second types that resist grass in my way

Apologies for your struggle in this quest.

 

From my personnal experience, I could recommend you Metagross or Rhyperior for this quest, they have +130 stats in attack and both can learn Rock Smash and Brick Break!

 

For water experience I either recommend a Ludicolo or a Rotom Mow but you will require many tries but the grind will pay!
