Gen 5 vs Gen 6 Movesets

Hi everyone,

So I was recently browsing the forums and I came across a post stating that all pokemon with pokedex numbers 1-200 are using the Gen 6 movesets, while all others are using the Gen 5 movesets (I am talking about the moves they learn as they level up). Is there any particular reason for this or is this something that is going to be changed in the future?

I think it's just because it takes a long time to code and implement every move. The movesets will be updated in the future but for now the staff are working on updates like Hoenn.

Gonna be changed in the future for sure.

Dont worry, the game is evolving. Staff is busy with Hoenn atm afaik, highest priority next to Server stability.

After Hoenn they have more time for other stuff like e.g. moves and so on, if they want to. :Heart:

We do plan on updating the moves of all the Pokemon, but for the moment, Shane is busy with Hoenn and server stability.
