Hello,
I am stuck in the Johto storyline in Goldenrod City.

 

Current situation:
– I have the Hive Badge
– I have the Basement Key
– Goldenrod Gym says it is “unchallengeable”
– Whitney and Sergeant Raul are still blocking the Radio Tower
– Talking to Michael does not progress the quest

 

Problem:
I believe my Goldenrod story flags are broken, as I cannot enter the Gym or Radio Tower and cannot progress the Johto story.

 

Request:
Could a GM please check and fix/reset my Goldenrod City story progression?

Apologies for the issue you are dealing with.

 

It is not a bug, you will have to go to the Dept. Store Underground.

 

 

But before this, I recommend you to buy a Fresh Water in the vending machine at last floor of Dept. Store and a pokemon with a sleep move such as : Sleep Powder or Spore (Highly recommend you to catch a Caterpie in the Ilex Forest before Goldenrod City) and you will be able to process into the Team Rocket Hideout, keep in mind that it will be a Hide and Seek and you will have to speak with a lot of crate to save Abandonned pokemon.
