Is your issue solved and are you now able to entering the Level 50 monotype challenge ? 

 

I briefly remember there was some NPC issue after the new client release but everything should be sorted now.

I saw this dialogue too today when i try to bring my electric team to fight but succussed to enter when i chose the bug team.
