Mudkip. It's just so awesome, kawaii and will also fit well with Pikachu and Cyndaquil.

Although Blaziken is far better than Swampert in PvP, and don't get me started on Sceptile.

 

I'll probably choose Mudkipz, because Mud Kipz. Also because that was the starter I choose in RSE.

 

However, I still need to do a bit of research, and I possibly might pick my starter based on whichever is the best for the story.

 

The likelihood I get a good nature and ivs for Torchic from the start is very low, so I will most likely not choose my starter based on PvP viability.

Gotta go with Torchic since it was my very first starter from the R/S era.

I like The all styles, But for history i go for Blaziken, because i need kick in flames ^^

Welp, I've gone with Squirtle for Kanto and Totodile in Johto; I think I will continue the trend and go with Mudkip.

Also, I can then ironically use the "So I heard you like Mudkips" meme.
