Doubts about story

Hello! So I haven't played in a very long while and I just came back and I seem to be stuck in Johto. I wanted to do some trades but I couldn't go back to Kanto. Do i need to finish the story in order to move around or can I do something to go back??

Hey @Gabigabiiiiii,

 

Welcome back!

 

Since you’ve already progressed past Kanto and are currently in Johto, you will need to continue and complete the Johto storyline before being able to freely travel between regions again.

 

Region travel is unlocked through story progression, so until you finish the required objectives in Johto, you won’t be able to return to Kanto.
