Good day @Killswitch112

Hope you are enjoying the Easter Event thus far. You are correct in that you need to do the Shaymin Quest to access Suzuka Cave.

This particular step requires you to find the book on rare flowers in Mayor Chris's bookshelf. Specifically, it can be found by interacting with the right most bookcase.

If you would like, a detailed walkthrough can be found in the Shaymin Quest Guide.

I hope this information finds you well and I look forward to hearing of your success finding the required book.

Regards,

Bitterblade

Good day @Killswitch112

Could you check two things for me and show me a screenshot of each:

  1. Could you show me the dialogue options when u speak with the mayor.
  2. Could you show me exactly what bookshelf you are interacting with.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Good day @Killswitch112

Have you tried progressing the quest and acquiring the Gracidea flower yet? If not, could you attempt and let me know if you are unable to get it?

As the book on rare flowers is not an item that appears in your inventory, it could be that you have already triggered this part of the quest and are ready to move on.

To acquire the Gracidea Flower, you need 100 Oran Berries and a Pokemon with the move Magical Leaf. You then need to head into Breezy Path, go to the first fork in the road and go west and then immediately up the stairs to the second fork and then go east. Once you come across the bridge, continue north until you see an area of grass with a pink piece of grass. Walk across it. This should trigger text that gives you the Gracidea Flower.

I hope this information finds you well and hope to hear of the successful acquisition of the Gracidea Flower.

Regards,

Bitterblade
