Oscar Posted June 27, 2016 Share Posted June 27, 2016 I have a doubt, when i go to battle with giovanny (to get the 8 badge ) blue is there and he knows my name and i never has seen him. In the history, how he knows my name ? Because with ash ketchum i have a little presentation and with red also. But i dont remember had seen to blue. You encounter Red and Ash during the story but not Blue and somehow he knows your name. Not very significant but it's interesting that it is like that. Like the oak example ; There takes a little invisible dialog between the player and the npc. Unless oak can literaly see through you and read your name. Consider that when you get to Giovanni (Gym8), you was beat 7 gym leader (who is famous in Kanto). The name of you famous from this. You also get pokedex from Oak - who get pokedex from Oak is always the known person (quoted from manga). Additionally, Blue is friend of Red, so Red tell Blue about the child who Red beat so hard/easy with surf Pikachu (gym 4). Moreover, you also destroy the Team Rocket at Celedon and Safforn city. And you help Bill with his book, help captain at vermilion, you help police investigate about eevee, etc. That's simple how your name know at Kanto :devil: P/s: I think Jackson was tell your name to Blue in the first time you beat him in school.
