Shiny? So found pokes can now be Shiny? OMG

Nah i found it too, it says shiny but its regular.

 

Mine is actually Shiny when I check it in the PC box.

 

I recall staffs saying abandoned pokes can be Shiny, though I don't know why it says Shiny for everyone when it won't be Shiny for everyone. Maybe, just maybe, this particular Kingdra is more likely to be Shiny compared to other abandoned pokes?

I found an abandoned Trapinch on Route 47 - i used surf & went to that path, then at the end to the left behind the tree, sorry couldn't figure out how to post an image >~<

You must beat Johto's E4 and talk to the sailord at Olivine City (south of Pokemon center).

That is totally normal. You get Trapinch or Sandile from this spot. Seems like luck wasn't on your side this time (i got Sandile too, meh).
