Tro11z explained it all, pretty much. I was "scared" to go to jhoto too, you know, losing all your pokes, starting again, it scared me. But you really shouldn't be anxious to go there, you'll have to do it sooner or later, and you'll get all your things back eventually. What i suggest you is: finish the kanto region up completely, which means, go Love Island if you've never been, go Sevii Islands, finish all the quest line, it'll be fun. Then go digging for the last time, sell items to the Item Maniac to get money, get all your items back from your pokemons and then go Jhoto. (you can also get TMs you need before going, as Tro11z said). Wish you luck :Grin:

There's something i still haven't understood, and i apologize if it's been already asked before: every rock you smash count as a single discovery? Which means i am supposed to smash 1200 rocks to get to higher tiers? :confused:

Sad to say, but the only thing you need is luck... If i were you, i would try to sacrifice your neighbours cat too, that might work. :devil: Seems strange though that in 30h of farming you've only encountered a bunch of bulbas, i did get my charmander clone after 3 days, but i also got 2 boxes of normal ones too. Seriously, there's nothing to do, the only thing that matters here is luck. Having said this, wish you luck bro. :Grin:

I've been hunting for the charmander clone since the beginning of the event (3 days ago) and i managed to get only one, as well as other 20 normal charmanders . Not going to hunt for a single more clone. Never again :Nervous:

Well, fist of all, welcome to the game :) Then, yes it is true indeed that having unevolved forms makes it easier to level them up. Keep this in mind because, expecially at the begninning of the game, you'll find it pretty hard to grind through levels. You can check the pokemons' spawns in the pokedex, of course you must have seen them before though. So if you are looking for some pokes for the first time, i suggest you looking on the forum's guides (regarding spawns). Talking about the moves: the strongest ones (which you should teach) change for each pokemon, you've got to take into consideration either if it's a Sp.Atk poke, or if it is a Atk poke, then you'll know what moves to teach. Hope this short infos helped, if there's something unclear, feel free to ask me again :y:

This kind of guide was needed. Good job for starting this up. I think it needs to be reorganized in a better way though: colors, spoilers, images etc... that way it'll be a lot clearer and easier to use. :y:
