Really enjoying this game so far. The team has done an amazing job capturing the essence of pokemon and enhancing in slight ways that make it truly better. My only questions is what games are used as the base for this when pertaining to evolving, trading to evolve, and where to catch pokemon?

To answer your question, in this game we have 3 regions from the I, II and III gen game, but the pokemon and the datas are updated (or waiting to be updated) at the gen VI.

The spawns of the game are different from the original games btw. You have an arrow on the top right of the screen to discover which spawns a certain area has.

Welcome to pro man and they've already answered your questions but always remember if you need help while in the game never ever think the help tab idle just for show I'm new as well but I've been helping players like us in the help tab just ask a question and someone answer if nobody does you've always got Google lol
